This Privacy Policy explains how AgileDev Group Oy (“Wishmo”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use the Wishmo mobile application and the wishmo.app website (together, the “Service”). We are the data controller for the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar laws.
1. Who we are & how to reach us
Wishmo is operated by AgileDev Group Oy, registered in Finland (Marinkallio 8 B 35, 02320 Espoo, Finland). For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@wishmo.app.
2. Minimum age
Wishmo is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
3. What we collect
3.1 Information you provide
- Account & profile. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name, email address, and (if available) a profile photo from that provider. You can add an optional display name, avatar, and bio.
- Your content. Wishlists, wish items (product links, titles, prices, images, notes, tags), wishlist covers and photos you upload, events you create, and gift reservations you make.
- Social connections. The people you follow, who follow you, and activity generated when you interact (e.g. reserving a gift or sharing a list).
- Messages to us. Anything you send to support.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Device & usage data. App interactions, feature usage, approximate region, device model, operating-system version, language, and crash diagnostics — collected through Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics.
- Push tokens. A Firebase Cloud Messaging token so we can send notifications you’ve opted into (for example, when a friend reserves a gift).
- Advertising identifiers. If you see ads, Google AdMob may process a device advertising identifier. On iOS, this only happens if you grant permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt (see our Cookies & Ads notice).
- Subscription data. If you purchase Wishmo Premium, our payments partner RevenueCat processes a pseudonymous app-user ID and your purchase/renewal status. Payment card details are handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see them.
3.3 Guest mode
You can try Wishmo without signing in. In guest mode your data is stored locally on your device and is not associated with an identifiable account. Social features, sharing, and reservations require sign-in.
3.4 Saving products from other websites
When you save a product, Wishmo retrieves public information from the product page you shared (image, title, price, description) so it can fill in your wish automatically. We only fetch the specific link you choose to save.

5. When information is visible to others
- Public lists & events. If you mark a list or event public, its title, items, images, prices and your display name/avatar are viewable by anyone with the link.
- Reservations are secret from the owner. When someone reserves a gift on your list, you cannot see which item was reserved or who reserved it — that’s the whole point. Other visitors can see that an item is taken.
- Profiles. Basic profile details (name, avatar, public lists) may be visible to other users you connect with.
6. Service providers (sub-processors)
We share data with trusted providers who process it on our behalf:

We do not sell your personal data.
7. Where your data is stored
Your data is hosted on Google Firebase / Google Cloud infrastructure in Europe. Our Firestore
database is configured in Google Cloud's eur3 Europe multi-region; Firebase Storage
uses the project's Firebase storage bucket. Some providers (Google, Apple, RevenueCat) may
process data in other countries; where data leaves the EEA/UK we rely on appropriate safeguards
such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal, tax or fraud-prevention obligations. Crash and aggregate analytics data is retained for limited periods per provider defaults.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and request a copy;
- Correct inaccurate data or update your profile in-app;
- Delete your account and data (see Delete your data);
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time;
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

10. Security
Connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption, access to your data is governed by Firebase security rules, and sign-in is delegated to Apple and Google. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and regulators of a breach where legally required.
11. California & other US states
We do not sell or “share” personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. Residents of California and certain other states may request access to or deletion of their information by emailing support@wishmo.app. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
